Bowls
General Rules
All markets are non-runner no-bet unless otherwise
stated.
The event must start within 7 days of the originally
scheduled start time for bets to stand.
Outright markets may be subject to Rule 4 (Deductions)
in the event of withdrawals.
Match Betting
A match must be played within 24 hours of the
originally scheduled start time for bets to stand.
If a match does not take place for any reason (e.g. player
withdrawal or injury), all pre-match bets will be void and stakes returned.
If a match starts but is not completed:
- The
player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner for match
betting purposes
Markets Requiring Match Completion
The following markets require the full statutory number of
sets to be completed. If not completed or format is changed, bets will be void:
- Match
Handicap
- Total
Points (2-Way)
- Total
Sets
- Total
Points Odd/Even
- Player
Total Points (2-Way)
If a set starts but is not completed, these markets will be
void unless the outcome is already determined.
Tie Rules
- Standard
Bowls: Settlement includes tie-breaker results
- Premier
League Bowls: A tie price is offered and applies
Set Betting / Correct Score
Set betting and correct set score markets will be void if
the match is not completed.
Set Markets (Current & Next)
If a set starts but is not completed, all related markets
will be void unless the outcome is already determined.
Included Markets:
- Set
Winner (2-Way / 3-Way)
- Total
Points (2-Way)
- Handicap
- Winning
Margin
- Correct
Score
- Total
Points Odd/Even
- Race
to 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 Points (3-Way, includes Neither option)
- Leader
After 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 Ends (3-Way, includes Tie option)
Applies to both:
- Current
Set Markets
- Next
Set Markets
End Betting Markets (Current & Next)
If an end starts but is not completed, all markets will be
void unless the outcome is already determined.
Specific Rules:
- End
Winner (2-Way):
- If
end finishes in a tie → bets void
- End
Correct Score:
- If
end finishes in a tie → bets void
- End
Total Points (2-Way):
- Standard
void rules apply if incomplete
Nationality of Winner
The winner is determined by the country represented by the
player, as per official records (e.g. www.worldbowlstour.com).
Settlement of Wagers
Settlement will be based on official statistics provided by
recognised governing bodies or official competition websites.
If such data is unavailable or deemed unreliable:
- Independent
sources may be used
In cases of conflicting or insufficient evidence:
- JSB
reserves the right to settle bets based on its own records, and such
decisions shall be final.
